Acupuncture stimulates the nervous system and cause the release of neurochemical messenger molecules. The resulting biochemical changes influence the body’s homeostatic mechanisms. As a result, there’s a positive effect on your physical and emotional well-being.

Symptoms & Triggers of Stress

Symptoms of stress are often progressive. Emotions not addressed can become pathological and be the root of more serious health conditions, manifesting in the physical aspect of the body. Symptoms are different for everyone.

People are approaching clinicians just like me to help them to alleviate the effects of symptoms, patients attend clinic with some or all of symptoms reported:

  • Chest pain
  • Nausea
  • Heart palpitations
  • Poor sleep
  • Dry mouth
  • Shortness of breath
  • Excessive sweating
  • Dizziness
  • Fatigue

There are many reasons why people can encounter stressful situations. whilst this isn’t a definitive list, here are some of the most frequent ones I encounter:
