Many people ask me what acupuncture can treat and the simple and short answer is that it can help any symptom or condition that you might visit the doctor for. Do you think that ancient Chinese medicine, which is thousands of years old, would still be around today if it didn’t work?

There are many wonders and benefits to acupuncture as it is an effective therapy in restoring balance and harmony to your body, stimulating your physical and emotional wellbeing.

Acupuncture can help with:

One of my areas of specialisation is in acupuncture for fertility, a treatment where I have invested and dedicated many hours honing my skills and expanding my knowledge significantly overtime to support assisted or natural conception.

Acupuncture helps the regulating of fertility hormones and can increase blood flow to the reproductive organs. Acupuncture regulates ovulation and menstrual cycles in female fertility and helps male fertility by improving the health of sperm, count and motility. As documented by the British Acupuncture Council, Acupuncture has been found to improve the motility of sperm by improving its zinc: cadmium ratio.

For single women who are planning and wish to freeze their eggs; acupuncture will help stimulate the ovaries to produce as many follicles as possible.

Stress and anxiety are hugely prevalent today, especially with the impact of the recent Coronavirus pandemic and the detrimental affect it has shown on our mental health and wellbeing.

With my acupuncture and supportive therapies, I can help you reduce the effects of stress and anxiety, build balance, and find harmony.

Acupuncture proactively reduces stress, by:

  • Providing relaxation time
  • Bringing hormonal balance
  • Promoting health and well-being
  • Increasing energy

Pain Relief.

Acupuncture is designed to consider the whole body, so, for example, if you are experiencing back pain, it could be that it stems from the leg or the shoulder. Equally if you are experiencing migraines, it might be that you also have stomach problems such as irritable bowel syndrome IBS.  Whilst acupuncture treatment is focused on your immediate concern other issues may resolve as well and you may experience improvements in energy or sleep, bowel movements and abdominal cramps, achy joints.

There is nothing more satisfying than watching someone’s health improve through my acupuncture therapies, so get in touch with me today, to see how I can help you find the freedom you are looking for.

I have a fantastic clinic more than capable of looking after all your needs; get in touch with me today and book your free discovery call, I can’t wait to hear from you!
