Postpartum recovery

You have recently given birth to a new bundle of joy!

Congratulations! What an exciting journey ahead of you.

What is postpartum?

A female body experiences many changes from conception to the cradle and ancient medicine places much focus on recovery following the birth of your little one.

The postpartum period relates to the time immediately after giving birth. Whilst it is a time of celebration, pregnancy takes its toll on the female anatomy, physically, emotionally and hormonal too.

In an ideal world it would be great to be looked after and supported by family members following our birthing experience, all too often women are required to go back to work before they are ready and before their body has time to recover, often feeling exhausted and running on empty.
