Acupuncture to assist with birth preparation
Bringing a new baby into the world can feel daunting for some women, especially as time grows closer and medical teams start to talk about induction. Many consider acupuncture because they are aware that it is a safe and natural treatment that can be beneficial to both mum and baby. Pre-birth acupuncture consists of weekly treatments from 37 weeks and I am passionate about helping women prepare for labour and using my skills to bring about symptom relief and promote good health and a sense of relaxation. A client received a couple of treatments of acupuncture to assist with birth preparation so that she could achieve the best possible experience for her and her baby, she says….
So sorry it’s taken me so long to email you!!
Baby Vann was born at 3:30an Sunday 5th June in the bath at home. My waters broke at 2:30 and it happened so quick there was no time to get to the birthing centre. My husband caught him about 2 minutes before the paramedic arrived, and thankfully my midwife mother in law several minutes later.
We’re still in shock about how quickly this labour was compared to my last (62 hours) and I have no doubt it was the preparation you did that made all the difference. I think it just prepared my body slowly and steadily as literally as soon as my contractions started he wanted to come out, I didn’t even need to push.
Thank you so much for all your help and encouragement as well. It wouldn’t have been half as easy without your amazing work! Happy to write you a testimonial!!
Thanks again and see you soon.
